2016 Pedras Rosé of Pinot Noir
WINEMAKER NOTES: Beautiful pale pink in color, this Provencal style rosé is a mouth full of luscious strawberries, raspberries and ripe watermelon. The wine is bright and rounded on the palate and has an elegant and clean finish.
VINIFICATION: Made from 100% pinot noir grapes that were specifically harvested to make rosé. The grapes were picked at low brix and therefore have produced a refreshing wine with low alcohol. Eighty percent of the wine was vinified in small stainless steel barrels. The remaining twenty percent was kept in neutral French oak barrels where the lees were occasionally stirred to give body and creaminess to the wine.
